Alexander and Jean 11-7-11

Alexander Skye (12:59:44 AM):Inside the general store looking for a few things that he needs and a few other things that most wouldn't understand

Jean Black (1:05:44 AM):Jean pushed the small cart down the isle. She was looking for rope. She walked around the next row with a hope that it was in this one. The guy at the front gave a wave that it was somewhere in this direction. He was more interested in getting her number than helping her out.

“Oh for petes sake." She stopped the cart. Today had been a bad day and everything was piling onto one another and her patience was wearing thin. She clenched the cart. "Not here Jean... just breath....."

Alexander Skye (1:10:25 AM):Alex stopped for a moment looking over some things when he catches word of someone near him. He sets down what he was looking at and looks behind him seeing a young woman standing there.

"Everything alright miss?" He stood there for a moment looking her over before looking back into her face

Jean Black (1:11:36 AM):Jean was concentrating and the guy just popped in front her. "Oh damn, you scared me.... what?" She had re play what he said. “No ... I mean no, I'm fine. I think. Its been a long day and the jerk up front...... I’m good thanks."

She patted her cart staring at it thinking about the rope she needed. She looked up and smiled. " Just hunting some rope."

Alexander Skye (1:17:21 AM):Quickly jumps to the side as to not get hit "Sorry i didn't mean to scare you" he stood there watching her as she thought for the moment. "Ahh I see. Is this the only place in town to get the rope your looking for?"

While standing there he get a strange feeling. Alex looked around for a moment to see if there might be something around him before turning back to the woman he had been speaking to.

Jean Black (1:25:05 AM):She smiled and was about to thank him for the concern but then her eyes, looking at him, blinked. She was sensing something more about him. He could be magi, or Lycan. She wasn’t sure. Jean reached into her purse.

"Yeah, all this hype of drama.... where’s my cell..... but thank you again so much." She looked for her cell phone. "There it is." She pulled it out and dropped it. The silver metallic phone, fell to the floor, just behind the man. “Oh butter fingers me...."

Alexander Skye (1:30:28 AM):He stood there for a bit more watching her. then nodded to her as she thanked him "oh no problem just thought I would ask." as he watched as he phone dropped and slid behind him. he turned around to pick it up

“I got it don't worry" as he went to pick it up he figured the feeling he was getting was coming from the woman he happen to be talking to. As he picked up her phone turning around and handing it to her "here you go"

Jean Black (1:32:41 AM):She looked at him holding the phone and looked at his face then back to his hand holding the phone. She reached out and began to take the phone from him. "thank you?" Jean was glad he wasn’t what she thought he was... but wasn’t sure if he was Magi or not.

She was going to just leave. One more wrong thing of guess he was something he wasn’t, was not going to be the highlight of the day.

Alexander Skye (1:40:42 AM):As she took the phone he got a rather warm feeling from her. He was now sure what he was feeling was coming from her and from what he could figure she was in his thought's a magi.

"Your most welcome. Might I ask your name?" Alex seen she was about to leave after getting the phone but he wanted to make sure that what his thought was, was actually right.

Jean Black (1:43:37 AM):"Jean...Black. I work over at the Zoo." She tucked the phone back into her purse. She was trying to make a connection to him, so read into his mind and see for herself if she knew what he was. But she couldn’t. "You are?"

Alexander Skye (1:46:51 AM):"Alexander Skye I'm actually looking for work myself at the moment." He looked at her as though he was trying to read her thoughts and actions to see if there was something that might give him and ides if he was right about who she was. "You wouldn't happen to be looking for help to work at the zoo?"

Jean Black (1:49:33 AM):Jean still wasn’t sure. Hell after the day see was having... maybe guessing he was Magi was just part of it. "You know.. I'd have to check with my boss........ My boss says I could use the help."

She laughed. His slight confused face was kind of funny. "I ....own the Zoo, but not many people know that I work there too, they think its some corporate jerk in an office. I get to pitch the crazy mail away. I'm looking for help in our new exhibit. Were getting a new habitat, wolves."

Alexander Skye (1:54:33 AM):"Ahh i see." as he herd her laugh. "Have i done something funny?"  as he looked at her for a moment then herd he other comment. "Oh nice it must be nice to own your own zoo."

“I have to admit i haven't worked with animals personally but i would be willing to do my best to try and help out if you are willing to take it" as he kept looking to see if there was something that would give him an idea

Jean Black (1:59:33 AM):Well.... how about an address and I can mail you some info? She asked him.

Alexander Skye (2:03:00 AM):"Here let me write it down for you." he riffles through his pockets looking for a piece of paper and a pen unable to find one he looks at her "Uh you wouldn't happen to have a pen and something to write on would you?"

Jean Black (2:04:59 AM):"You know what... lets just get out of here and head over to the zoo?" She waved a hand towards the direction of the zoo.

Alexander Skye (2:06:24 AM):Alex shrugged. "Sure why not" he put the stuff he had on him a on shelf and turned back to her "I'll follow you"

Jean Black (2:08:45 AM):She nodded and headed out to the checkout. Always watching him out of the corner of her eyes. He wasn’t secretive but he was so mysterious at the same time. She finished up and loaded her cart back up with the few things now in bags.

"I’m parked in the parking lot across street, I'd be happy to give you a lift, its not far but by walking it will take longer." She smiled. Elle Jellico CO (2:08:47 AM):

Alexander Skye (2:13:48 AM):He walked with her to the checkout he kept looking her over trying to figure out if she was truly a magi or if it was just something in his head.  He then nodded to her as she spoke "sure and yeah your right driving there would be much faster then walking." He smiled looking at her. "I’ll follow you"

Jean Black (2:18:14 AM):She moved out and they entered the parking lot. It was empty, good. She was going to have to be quick. She was walking ahead and so was softly speaking the chant.... suddenly a fire circle was casted around them both and she flipped around to face him.

She outstretched her arms and within her open palms fire consumed in a twirl. “Now I’m going to ask once, are you a Lycan or Vampire....or Magi? If so prove your power or die by mine..."

Alexander Skye (2:24:07 AM):He quickly stopped and looked around seeing they were both in a ring of fire and there was now fire coming off her hand. He grinned happy to know now that the feeling he was getting was right but didn't say anything as he looked at her.

He stood there for a couple moments before he slowly began to raise one hand and there was a rather large gust that took out the ring of fire that was around them and there in that same hand sat a small tornado as he looked into her eyes. "Does this answer your question?"

Jean Black (2:27:17 AM):The ring wasn’t meant to complete destroy him, if he were vampire the fire would have scared him into the truth, if he had been lycan he would have shifted and came after her.... but because he was magi anything would have broken the ring.

“At least for once today i was right. I apologize for the rude behavior." She motioned the fire circle. “Why couldn’t i sense the air element in you? Normally our two elements get along to begin with?"

Alexander Skye (2:30:45 AM):He shook his head "don't worry about it if you had meant to do harm you would have done so and to be honest i had gotten the same feeling from you but wasn't sure about it myself." He stood there thinking.

“You know I’m not sure. I couldn't quite tell what element you were either. maybe something has happened where it's becoming harder to tell"

Jean Black (2:33:37 AM):"We'll have to get color name tags." She laughed. "Seriously I could use the help at the zoo. I know that with more hands, especially yours the Lycans wont be a bother for our new exhibit." She looked at him. "Are you new to town... I don’t think I’ve seen you before.... I mean I know Damnatio is kind of big, but it can be small it certain ways."

Alexander Skye (2:36:19 AM):He laughed agreeing with her "Yeah no kidding.  Well like I said in the shop I haven't really worked with animal before but i am willing to do what I can to help out." He then paused for a quick second at her question.

“Well yes and no. My parents use to live here but moved before i was born then something seemed to draw me back here so here i am"

Jean Black (2:38:18 AM)She nodded, trying to continue her day. "Cool. Well lets head over and I'll show you the zoo.... and I can help with a place to stay, rent free.... compliments of the Magi Order."

Alexander Skye (2:41:52 AM):He followed her nodded "Sounds good and a place to stay would be great. though i have to ask will it be with other Magi or will I be alone or what’s the deal with that?"

Jean Black (2:45:10 AM):"The Magi Order, is just the council here.... we help out our own kind. Kind of have to be only Magi to get these benefits" She got in the car and turned it on. "Don’t worry your in the club ...."

Alexander Skye (2:48:52 AM):He got into the car as well looking over at her and nodded "Ahh alright well it's good to know that i have some sort of help."
